Flyback

Someone name it ring choke , store energy in inductor ( Gapped core) during positive duty, release energy to load while negative duty, specific is simply circuit and low cost. Favorest circuit for power less then 100W application。

Forward

Provide power both positive and negative duty，transformer did not storage energy，about twice power of flyback¸but circuit is complex than flyback.

Push-Pull

Highest efficiency and complex among these 3 structure，only in some special purpose.
